Oh thank God, I finally figured out this sodding login problem.

Roughly two days ago all my browsers (mobile Safari and FireFox) that used saved auto fills stopped working. Instead, I got the

You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password.

I was using the proper username and password that had worked since I registered, leaving the remember me box checked and the browser remembrance on. After mass searching online, I found a forum user who had admin powers and was able to see that for some reason his username for logging in had been changed. So after thirty minutes of trial and error, I have figured out that my username was indeed changed without me being notified and am now able to login. I hope that if anyone else gets this problem, this post might help admins and members alike.

A good hint would be to use different forms of your original username (his " " space between words was turned into an "_") or (in my case) use the name you have as your profile.
